wow!

at the ancient pond
a frog plunges into
the sound of water

our ubiquitous:) leaping frog enters a *sound dimension* (this spin makes it magic) ~ image this portal and respond with an aquaiku in honour of mad basho? (who, apparently, ate live frogs as part of his act - conscripts would be trained to jump through little woven flower hoops into his open mouth whereby he would swallow them whole and later re-cycle them quite alive & kicking!)

when we are flying, tossed to and fro' by a storm, we are in God's thoughts.

how lill' karl discovers his destiny is a joke . .

trippin on sunbeams
i splash into solid ice
thought turns into things

about half an hour
(or maybe twenty minutes)
after i seek them
visions of my name
and geocentric habit
become less pressing

it is late summer
converging like a pipedream -
long shadows point east

golden eventide -
random stars are appearing
day blends nights perfumes

sitting on a rock
my so-pure awareness maps
and NOW unwraps..

'Gods Silence IS God'
snatches of song, such brief lives
light flecked dust motes -

so familiar
why could we enchant all this
in such tiny shells?

'twas only later
that i realized this:

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.

NOTE
the Basho translation used is, in my humble opinion, the most magical
~ what do any alert members think?

in this one the 'sound of water'is what the frog jumps into, rather
that the effect which the frogs jump has on *the voice* of the liquids
elasticity.

much better.
